Just wanted to check in and let everyone know I am still waiting for a donor liver. I am now third on the list and they think I should be called any time now. It has been five months now but it really doesn't seem that long.

I feel well and still work full time, play with the grandkids and do whatever I want. I am going for an MRI in a couple of weeks. I have at least one malignant lesion growing again in my liver with several small high-risk ones. Hopefully they will remain small and not cause any problems before I am transplanted.

Hope all are well and looking forward to spring.

You are my hero. Or should I say heroine? Your attitude is amazing. I am so proud of you, Foo. Hoping that call comes real soon and your next post is that you are home and recuperating.

Me too, Foo. You are soch a brave woman. Hoping that that call comes soon. Can someone let us know that you have gotten your transplant? I know that we would all want to say prayers and send our best thoughts and to you.

Trust me, I'm no heroine. I'm just at peace with where I am and where I'm going. I have a strong feeling that everything will work itself out. I have Susie's email address so I will have someone check in when I'm in the hospital.
